Snow falls in silence. Aymeric's chest tightens when Estinien's dark eyes find him again. There's need in his gaze, desperation, maybe something like dread. But before Aymeric can try to retreat, to laugh off the suggestion and start toward the barracks instead, Estinien takes his hand. He has to look away, feeling his hand in his. Estinien's voice, when he does speak, is as soft as the falling snow.

Summary
Estinien is taking some time to rest in Old Sharlayan, after some Adventuring (tm). So, at the request of Alphinaud, he takes up residence in a guest room at the Leveilleur Estate until he feels the pull of adventure once more. As such, the two Elezen begin spending more time together for the first time in a while. This is just one of those days they spend with one another.

When Masato finds out that Ichi has been visiting Shangri-La regularly, he makes an appointment to see Ichi’s favorite girl. Together. He’d only planned to watch, to remind Ichi that he’s always watching. When it turns out Ichi has a weakness for the strap, he decides to take over.
