When Taehyung spots Jeongguk from across the room, he feels as if the whole world has come to a stand-still. He feels his heart racing in his chest, his knees feel weak. He looks just as beautiful as he did in his dreams. He almost wants to run away.
The only thing that grounds him is the small warm hand in his. One that squirms in Taehyung's hold and draws attention to itself.
"Are you okay, appa?"
Taehyung smiles, his heart overwhelmed. "Of course, baby."
