Summary
Within the past hours, both wardens had learned that their lives were far more fragile than they expected. To accomplish the goal they set out to do, one life must be forfeit. When they heard what they had to do, their hope, their wishes for a future were shattered.
So when Morrigan had offered a solution, Kallian had listened with earnest. If it gave her and Alistair a future in this life, this life that she had finally started to love, there was very little she wouldn’t do.
But life isn’t that simple, is it?
