   Crowley paused in his stride towards the back room of the shop, putting a hand on his cocked hip as he stared directly at a rather distinguished looking duck on the sofa wearing a tartan bowtie.

   Aziraphale looked up at Crowley for a moment before he let out a quack in greeting.

   “Angel, what the devil are you doing?” Crowley asked, raising a brow behind his sunglasses.

   Aziraphale quacked back at Crowley.

   “An experiment, eh?” the demon muttered. “And how’s that going for you?”
