    The space was narrow, almost too tight for two. Still, K stepped in carefully, gently closing the door behind him. Taki stood before him, shirt unbuttoned, tie hanging loose, cheeks flushed, golden light glinting faintly in his eyes. Something in him trembled, stretched taut like a wire about to snap. K froze for a moment.

    “I’m so hot…” Taki whispered hoarsely, leaning into him. “Please… do something."

    K looked down, feeling the tension in Taki’s hands, the ragged rhythm of his breath.  There was a scent in the air, unmistakable. Not illness, but intensity. A memory stirred inside him.

    “I think I know what this is…”

    Euijoo does feel a little bit bad, though, as he slowly drifts to consciousness, for forgetting to turn off the alarms for the day off the night before, but between the sleep clouding his eyes and the ache in his shins from sitting at the desk all day, Euijoo doesn't feel inclined to turn them off even now.

    Besides, he knows Nicholas will do it for him anyway.
