Summary
It’s been nearly two months since they’ve been on the run. Two months since Ahjussi assembled a gaggle of lost, frightened children and ushered them into a world he coins the ‘present’ - which, for Keeho and Jiung, simply means a future they can’t let happen.
But when Keeho is suddenly flung back into the past, he finds that changing the future means facing those he's long forgotten - including himself.
Sometimes home isn’t where you left it.

Summary
“Come to Anyang with me.”
Keeho has been bracing for the inevitable ever since Jiung invited him to spend their five-day break together in the mountainous outskirts of his hometown.
Well, trust Jiung to pick somewhere pretty to end it once and for all. Keeho almost laughs aloud. Not a bad place to have his heart broken, he supposes.
Just five days, he tells himself. Five days in Jiung’s hometown. Only the two of them.
Afterwards, Keeho will finally let go.

Summary
In another world, Intak is older. In another world, Jiung is born two years later.
Things stay the same, more or less.
Intak has always been a good hyung. For Jiung, he wants to be extra good.
But Jiung doesn’t tell him that he’s too much.
That’s probably their first mistake.

Summary
The last person that Keeho wants to cry in front of is Jiung. But maybe this is only something inevitable, when you bare your heart to somebody else through song.
Or, Keeho falls in love, and tries desperately to hide it from himself. Jiung knows how to see underneath his skin anyway.

Summary
“Okay,” Keeho needs a second. He needs several, actually, but there’s only so much silence he can afford right now. “Well. If I were in love with you, don’t you think it’d be a bit late to bring it up?”
Something raw flickers across Taeyang’s face, but it’s gone before Keeho can name it, packed away with the urgency of someone who’s painfully aware that the person in front of him is able to read him just as well.
“Keeho.”
“I’m joking. Jesus, I’m obviously joking.”
“Are you?”

Summary
“Have you heard?” Old Luo asked suddenly, cutting though Wei Shou’s dismayed shrieks. He was desultorily stirring the contents of the pot, with a look on his face that probably didn't bode well for the quality of their dinner
“Little Guo as the new general?” Ouyang asked. “I’ve heard. Not even the Prince of Radiance can save us from failure in those hands.”
“You could stand to talk a little more quietly,” Old Luo said, but he couldn’t quite conceal a smirk. “I didn’t meant those news. Word is that a clouds and water monk wandered into the city, stole a horse, pissed off Little Guo and was conscripted into the army - say, are you alright?”
“Fine,” Ouyang said. The words came out a little muffled, because he still had his face buried in his hands, and a little choked, because he was still laughing. There you are, he thought.
Ouyang reunites with his family, joins the Red Turbans, befriends people on purpose and ends up in command of an army that actually likes him.
Not necessarily in that order.

Summary
It was more of an acknowledgement of something they’d both been aware of for some time, rather than an explosive, passionate declaration.
If Esen hadn’t said ‘you really are as beautiful as a woman’.

Summary
“But if you need something like that again,” General Xu said, tilting his head back to consider the cloudy night sky, “come to me before my little brother, yes? He means well, but he has no experience with that sort of thing.” Ouyang stiffened. General Xu raised his arm, scratched his own nose, and shrugged. “I wouldn’t want you to actually be incapacitated. We need you out there, General Ouyang.”
