Shane and Ilya don’t hook up until a little later on in their story, but not for lack of trying or interest. When they do finally get together, things move faster and feelings are expressed sooner. But when the path to their final happy ending hits a major road bump—angst and heartbreak ensue.

Summary
Seven years of knowing each other, and four of those they spent as friends with an insane amount of benefits, it doesn’t take long for either of them to learn how to function in each other’s space with a precision that rivals even those married couples out there.
Or, Shane breaks off a four-years long running friends with benefits relationship with Ilya because he is finally ready to enter the dating scene now. Ilya, unable to cope like a normal person, concocts a plan to make Shane just date him instead.
