Summary
Remus groans, his hands tightening on Regulus' waist, wanting to pull him ever closer. He can't resist the impulse to bite the soft spot just bellow Regulus' ear, get his skin between his teeth, start to mark him already. It's not as thorough a marking as his werewolf instincts yearn for it to be, but he's trying not to lose himself completely in the act.
Not today.
Today he needs to be present and pay extra attention to his partner. He's so used to Regulus taking control, allowing Remus to succumb to pure feeling, but today he wants to be fully aware, wants a clear head to focus on Regulus instead. It's a privilege and a rare honour to be the one giving, and he'll be damned if he doesn't make the most of it.

The change that overtakes Remus every month is getting worse. His body is ragged. The days leading up to and afterword are exhausting. He can't keep this up. He is starting to get desperate when he finds something unexpected. In a corner of Hogwarts, deep in the abandoned section of the castle someone is playing music.
It is a godsend. It soothes and comforts the wolf giving Remus the peace he so desperately craves. He needs it like he needs nothing else and will do anything to keep it.

When Remus Lupin sees Regulus Black in a gay bar, he can't believe his eyes. Never in a million years would he have believed, that the upright and proper heir to the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, would be here of all places. For years Regulus has stood by, whilst the rest of the Black family made his brother's life a living hell.
Remus should turn and walk away. Whatever mistake Regulus is about to make tonight has nothing to do with him. It doesn't. He should just go on his merry way and forget he ever saw him.
But to the wolf, Regulus looks like a meal that he cannot refuse and Remus's feet move before his brain can catch up to what he's doing.
After all, he's never been particularly good at doing what he should do.
