As if Ebott city needed more trouble, the government ratified the 18th amendment, prohibiting the manufacturing, sell, and even transport of alcohol. The city was already in enough violence with monsters coming from Mount Ebott about 4 years ago, but this law pushed it over the edge and now created organized crime all over the city.
You were a waiter at Starlights food service. Everyday was a risk to take as violence and shoot outs could break out at any moment, but you would never ask for another job. If it wasn't for this restaurant, you wouldn't have met any of your friends you know now.

These two people will help you with more than you could ask for: helping with money, transportation, and even giving you a place to stay when you could barely afford rent. You don't understand why but to them, it's like your the last diamond of the world.
