“What if I paid you to model for me?” Yuma asked, interrupting him.
“Uh—What?” Taki choked out.
“I have a thesis project I need to complete by the end of the year to graduate,” Yuma began to explain, “I need a subject, so what if instead of being a live model for drawing classes, I pay you to model for me instead?”
“You want me to be your subject?” Taki asked.
“Yeah, I mean why not,” Yuma shrugged, “I pay you to be a live model for me, and I get a subject for my project. That's a reasonable trade, I think. I’ll also pay you way more than what you get paid for modeling for the drawing classes.”
Taki didn’t respond, as Yuma watched him think this over. It was true that Yuma needed a subject for his project, but he also had ulterior motives in mind. Taki didn’t need to know that. He tapped his fingers lightly on the steering wheel, in anticipation.
Taki smiled softly, “I mean, sure, why not?”
