Oh sure, he couldn’t remember much of the details - not until he’s glancing around the tavern and his eyes catch on Peter’s face, which is when everything suddenly clicks. It’s hard to see Peter as anything other than wonderful - anything other than a blessing to his life - when that is a simple truth about him.
