“God, you probably think I’m crazy,” Cordelia sighed, running an exasperated hand through her hair.
“Hey,” Angel said with a small tired smile. “I’m a vampire with a soul, and you’re a part-demon high school prom queen who gets visions of the future from godlike powers of good. If I ever call you crazy, I give you permission to kill me, ‘cuz I’ve definitely gone evil.”
She grinned, and then stopped. “Okay,” she said finally, scanning his face for a reaction when she laid it out.
“I think time is broken.”
No response.
“Crazy?”
“Crazy.”
