Summary
Yoongi and Namjoon are ghost hunters for their Youtube channel. Namjoon is a believer, scared of his own shadow. Yoongi is his barely-ever-startled skeptic boyfriend. Neither thinks much of it when Yoongi teases a ghost at a haunted location and invites him back home with them because it's nothing out of the ordinary.
But as time goes by Yoongi's world is completely flipped upside down. He never thought one day he'd be the one desperately trying to convince Namjoon that ghosts are real and that one is in love with him.***
“Jungkook, if you like Namjoonie here, let us know.” They wait for a moment. Nothing. “Oh, don’t be shy now Jungkookie…” Yoongi feels a little dumb talking to the air, but it keeps making Namjoon giggle quietly so he doesn’t stop. “Jungkook, do you have a crush on Namjoon?”
The radio chatters something inaudible, and Namjoon perks up.
“What? Come again, Jungkook?” Yoongi asks, pretending to directly acknowledge the ghost and not just Namjoon’s incredibly annoying noise machine.
“I… crush… Joon… like”
“Ooooh there we go, that’s some spicy gossip.” Yoongi laughs, Namjoon’s face bright red.

there’s a reason he’d heard jungkook so clearly. it wasn’t just the usual “hyung”, playful and meant to distract him from his work out of bordemon. there was no teasing lilt or whiny drawls. this was the kind of tone jungkook used when he was nervous, apprehensive; strained like he had to force himself to grab just enough confidence to speak.
