Summary
Ben Solo has succeeded where many thought he would fail. As Kylo Ren he has lead the First Order for almost two years. But the person that was Kylo Ren is slipping away, leaving only a thin veneer for Ben Solo to hide behind. Tomorrow is a special day for Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and the First Order. At least it will be if Ben can stay alive. Hux has made his plans and Ben has made his counter-plans. But of course their deadly game goes to hell in a hand-basket when Rey shows up...and she’s angry. Angry enough to open the bond that they had ignored since she'd left him behind. Ben can't resist her call and she’s just as crafty, powerful, and beautiful as ever.
So it was a bad idea for Ben to go after her, right?

“Where am I?” she gasped. Kylo raised an eyebrow.
“My bedroom,” he declared seductively, looking at her like a man seeing his first nerf-burger after six years on ration packs.
“Oh,” Rey said. She looked down and saw something huge.

Summary
Six months after Starkiller Base. The First order is experiencing difficulties with arms supply from the Dastron system. With nearby resistance activity Snoke sends Kylo Ren and General Hux to investigate and quell any possible uprisings. Rey has spent most of her time in training with Luke Skywalker on a new planet called Pal Charin and now Finn and others have dropped by for a visit on their way to the new Resistance base. Captain Phasma has tracked Finn to a nearby world. Her intention is to fly in, arrest Finn and get back to the First order fleet before they leave for the Dastron system.
Some things just don't go to plan though. Rey finds herself thrown back into the grip of her enemy while Kylo Ren finds all he has worked to regain after his failure at Starkiller begin to crumble when faced with his one true weakness.

After a French notary contacts Rey to inform her she's inherited a house in the Drôme (France), she decides from one day to the next to quit her job and move there.
The house is pretty secluded, there's no service, no internet, no way to reach other people aside from the landline in the living-room.
