Summary
As the inkling turned to place the bottle back in the fridge, her elbow brushed too close to one of the plates, bumping against the pile of whipped cream and smearing it up the side of her arm.
“Ah, shit.” Pearl cursed, twisting her arm. “I guess that one’s mine.”
As she moved towards the sink, Marina stepped in front of her, blocking her before she could grab a dish rag. “I've got it!” The octoling hummed, taking Pearl’s arm and licking the trail of cream from her skin before Pearl could answer.
Pearl’s breath caught in her throat as Marina’s tongue slid up her skin. It was a quick motion, over in only a second, but it was enough to send goosebumps down the inkling's arm. Oh, she liked that. She liked that a lot.
Marina eats food off Pearl for the first time.

“More than normal,” you snort. “Marina thinks something, and I think it—”
“And Pearl thinks something and I think it. It’s confusing—”

“Are you ever normal?” Acht cuts in, leaning back against the wall.
