Eight months for what? The important mission they were embarking on would survive with or without Utahime's help, as he aptly put it; she wasn't talented. in which time in the afterlife is not what it seems and the questions that arises is, if gojo and utahime are really dead because nothing about this is normal. except, gojo knows more than he's letting on which causes a rift in the relationship that utahime assumed was far more innocent than what it actually is.
“you would know if you were dead,” gojo finally interrupts, not really giving her any time to force out a comment or even a suggestion. the whites of his teeth flare out and utahime feels herself tip further into the backing of her seat. in the grayness of the kitchen, his eyes grasp her attention and she almost finds herself starstruck. “dead people rot away with time, it usually starts off with their body but their mind follows shortly after.” he mentions solemnly, the ceramic spoon from earlier chipping at the sugary residue at the bottom of his cup.
