“I-… I-… Geralt” Jaskier was out of breath, his mind blank in shock, prompting him with single words but no full sentences he could respond with. “I’ve never heard you say so much at one time!” he stuttered, tittering nervously and calling himself an idiot right after.
Geralt didn’t say anything, just observing and waiting, and Jaskier calmed down immediately when he noticed a regret creeping on Witcher’s face. “I… Oh, Geralt. You’re the only one who makes me forget words. I lose my poetical abilities when you’re the object of my thoughts and it’s so frightening. Can I- Can I just hold you instead?” he asked, reaching out his right arm, praying for invitation.

Jaskier compliments Geralt once, expecting either ignorance or death from Witcher's hands. Instead, he gets flowers and a bath. -

Summary
Madi has always wondered if Silver understands what is between him and Flint as well as she. To her, it has always been obvious, from the way the two of them had fit together, had worried about each other, had acted as one. She had tried to bring it up with Silver back when they were together. But Silver had shaken her off, too enmired in the idea that he or Flint would prove each other’s downfall. Or perhaps just unwilling to open his eyes to the fact that he had loved Flint.
It was, unfortunately for the both of them, even more obvious after the thing between them had broken. Just as Silver had thrown away the war out of love for her, Flint had let Silver take away the war rather than kill him.
God. What a group the three of them were, showing love by betrayal.
Post-canon. Madi and Flint find their way back to Silver.

John tries not to shift, repressing the urge to run that immediately rises up. “Not before we found you, at any rate.” John has to laugh at that, like he’s some stray that Flint decided to keep, here on these godforsaken cliffs that Flint insists they train atop.
“Jesus Christ, don’t do that,” he says. “If you want to know where I come from just ask.” It almost even feels like the truth to say it, like if Flint asked him in the just the right way, John could find the words that would make his life till now into something that could be understood.-
