Summary
A Japanese folklore AU: Since the beginning of time, ayakashi have lived in the same world as humans, but the days in which they have existed together in peace have long fallen into oblivion. Now humans are afraid. They tell stories. They tell myths. They warn and they fear and they hunt with their sanctified spears and steer clear of shrines that were once places of worship and gratitude.
But Iruka is not afraid. And when the forest, home to all spirits in their world, falls sick, Iruka knows that he has to find his way to his true home.

Summary
After his parents' death, Iruka goes to live with his two uncles in a little town called Leafwood. Their house has nooks here, and little crannies there, a wonderful garden, and the oven in the kitchen is always preparing something tasty and warm. Life is far from perfect but Iruka is very loved, and when one day a boy called Tenzou appears in the forest behind their home, their family expands naturally.
There's just this very tiny fleck on Iruka's family history... a curse that destines the one Iruka falls in love with to die.
How rude is that?

Summary
“Are you telling me that this calendar was your idea?” Iruka asked. “That you came up with this whole thing, convinced other ANBU to take part and arranged all these ridiculous photo shoots…just so you could come onto me?”
There was a pause.
“Well I’d planned to take you out to dinner first,” Hound said.
