In the downtime after a case in Dean's last year after his deal, he and Sam have an encounter with an older Dean.
The two men don’t notice them immediately, as they’d apparently ducked behind Baby to have a quick, whispered argument. One of them is gesturing to the car and Dean doesn’t know what the hell his intentions are, but he isn’t about to let him get away with them. Sam crouches down comically low, his back hunched and his knees bent. Dean pulls his gun, ready to come in big and threatening when Sam sucks in a breath behind him.
“What?” Dean hisses.
“Dude,” Sam says, more air than sound. “One of them has your face.”

Summary
Getting Castiel buzzed for his anti-possession tattoo backfires for Dean when he turns sloppy drunk. Along the ride back to the bunker, Castiel slowly deconstructs until he begins talking the way he did in 2014. It terrifies Dean and they argue. Unresolved feelings boil under the surface but they both know the only way they can avoid the 2014 fate is to stick together.
