“Moi soverenyi,” Alina’s voice was soft but firm in the half-light and he briefly closed his eyes, feeling his pulse pick up and his body tingle at just the sound of her voice.
He turned to see her hovering in the doorway, her soft hair curling around her face in gentle ringlets, falling down her back of a cascade of dark water, her eyes glimmering in the low light like the finest onyx gems. Skin he could only imagine the softness of teased him from the low cut of her gown, the way her collar bone and the soft swell of the tops of her breasts were exposed.
