Like in canon, Arthur's just discovered that his mother died in childbirth because Uther used magic to get an heir-- except in this version, Arthur goes through with his attempted regicide.
...Might make a series of Merlin fix-its for writing practice. Also, I'm new to posting literally anything on here (or anywhere else), so if I messed anything up just lmk!
