“She’ll never claim me,” he whispered. Silena shook her head, eyes wild as she looked around for anyone who could be watching.
“My mother doesn’t remember half of her children as it is,” she said with a note of bitterness. “If you do something to impress her, it won’t matter. Return the bolt in her name. She’ll claim you if you act the part. If you stay unclaimed then they'll figure out what you really are," she said, squeezing his hands tightly. Percy's heart sped up.
"I - I don't know the first thing about Aphrodite-"
"My mother was born of sea foam," Silena cut him off. "And if you're really who I think you are... you are the sea. You can pull this off," she said and touched his cheek. "Get the bolt. Survive," she said. Percy swallowed.
"What if I can't act the part?" He asked. Silena's expression went blank for a moment. Slowly, she slipped off her bracelet and placed it in his hands.
"If you're going to be one of us... you better learn."

Summary
Booker had imagined his penance very differently. He’d been planning seventy or so solid years getting drunk in Paris, wallowing in his own guilt – nothing new there, he’d been doing that for two hundred years already – and then taking the final thirty to get his shit together enough to be…something, when he met the others again. Less detestable, maybe.
Quynh had put paid to that notion, and he’d been hungover, unshaven and miserable when he’d seen them again.
Unfairly, Joe has shaved since Booker had last seen him. To throw people off their trail, to keep anyone from recognizing him, to keep Merrick’s people from recognizing him, and Booker swallows that down miserably with the rest of his shame. The torment of Joe looking like that, younger and sharper and more furious with Booker than ever, is nothing Booker doesn’t deserve.
Nicky still hasn’t even spoken to him.

Summary
AU in which Will receives a secret admirer with a penchant for writing him poetry and slaughtering the innocent in artistic fashions. No one ever told him that courtship was so bloody or appealing -rather, so bloody appealing? He's a part-time bartender that can't catch a break, but at least he has one loyal customer who doesn't seem to mind bouncing from restaurant to bar to restaurant in order to have his favorite drink made by his favorite person.
There couldn't be a correlation though; Dr. Lecter is an upstanding psychiatrist that just likes his drinks served a certain way, and the Chesapeake Ripper keeps sending love letters in the hopes of one day eating him. One is, quite frankly, flattering, the other...
Will isn't stupid enough to tell anyone that it's also equally flattering, albeit horrifying at the same time. It's up for interpretation.
