Summary
Alternative AU where Andrew escapes Drake’s abuse at fourteen and finds a not-so-temporary home with David Wymack.
Without spoiling too much, the story will touch on some very heavy topics such as sex trafficking, rape, and its aftermath. However, the story mainly focuses on Andrew’s healing throughout and asks the question of who Andrew could have become if he had never gone to juvie or been put on court-mandated medication.
Andrew will not be portrayed as a psychopath like some stories choose to portray him, but rather as a character who went through hell and is trying his best to survive it. The story will mainly focus on Andrew and Wymack’s relationship, as well as his gradual friendship with the Exy players and his growing love for the game. Neil and the other Foxes will appear later in the story, so if you’re looking for a major Andreil focus, this probably isn’t the story for you.
Lots of hurt, but also lots of comfort, because Nora really likes putting her characters through the worst and we all need a little comfort afterward.

Summary
Just as Kevin expects, as soon as he steps through the threshold, Riko uses one hand to slam the door, while he grabs a handful of Kevin’s shirt with the other, slamming him against it. Kevin allows himself to be manhandled pliantly, his back hitting the wood with a loud thud.
However, what Kevin wasn’t expecting is the look on Riko’s face once their eyes meet. He expected the usual anger, the rage that seems to always leak from his gaze, even the resentment that sometimes clouds Riko’s features. What meets him deep inside those almost black irises is worse. There is disgust, but also something deeper and more brutal. Kevin inhales a sharp breath, feeling his fear grow in size inside his chest. One of Riko’s hands finds home on Kevin’s throat, squeezing hard enough to make breathing hard, but not impossible.
“Since when?” Riko asks, his voice, dripping with poison enough to make Kevin’s guts twist.

"It's 6:30 in the morning. We don't do surprise visits, hell we don't even do any visits. Yet you felt the need to drive two hours to see me at dawn, right after your shift. So I'll ask one more time. Where is Neil?"
