“Catalyst,” Scaramouche replied.
“Well that’s quite unfortunate,” another new voice interrupted their conversation. “This one, as it seems you’ve observed, is an awful catalyst forger.”
“Tomo! This is not helping me make business,” Kazuha hissed at the new man, who walked up to the counter beside Scaramouche.

Scaramouche needs a catalyst, and Kazuha's forgery is the only one in Inazuma who makes them. Reluctantly, Scara teams up with Kazuha to design a weapon and gather materials for it. Unfortunately, not everything goes to plan.

Or... After Nagito finds out about Hajime being talentless, she starts taunting and bullying Hajime about it. But why can't she seem to keep any distance from the brunette when she appears to hate her so much?

So, to keep their friends off their backs, they agree to fake date until the consequences of their stupidity eventually blow over. They'd bond, maybe patch up their crumbling friendship, and turn this whole thing into an inside joke within a year or two.
