harry was in love with tom. he knew this with certainty. not loving tom wasn’t something he could imagine ever doing, his complete devotion to tom was ingrained in his very being. or, his very soul. his and tom’s souls were forever intertwined, tom had told him many times, and harry knew it for himself too. he knew he had a piece of tom’s soul inside him, and he loved it. it meant that he was tom’s, he belonged to tom, and tom couldn’t let him go. tom had told him himself that he would never let harry go now that he had him.

aizawa shouta woke up in a strange bed. well, if you could call it that, a mouldy mattress might have been more accurate. he had no recollection of how he got there, as he was fairly certain that he'd fallen asleep in his bed. the second strange thing was the pain; yes, he'd gotten a little bruised up last night on patrol, but this was more than muscle pain. opening his eyes he saw a strange room, but what got his attention was his - or notably not his body, covered in burn scars. oh, and the soul mark that matched his.

it was a completely normal mission. supposed a last for a few days, yes, but a normal mission. a normal mission for which they had to call for backup when everything didn't go according to the plan.
aizawa shouta was called as a backup for a mission. he was out of the city, getting a gift for his husband when he got an emergency call. a situation nearby was getting out of hand.
when he arrived at the scene a little child he was trying to evacuate manifested their quirk and turned aizawa into a cat. unfortunately, the kid and their parents both died and it seems that no one knew how the child's quirk worked.
as a cat, Aizawa stumbled upon two homeless kids and his cat instincts straight away adopted the two kittens.
