Summary
They hadn’t known Lava Springs Country Club was owned by the uncle of Drama Queen and her hench-brother until they arrived this morning and Azula was immediately peacocking, alternating between smirking at Katara and glaring at the rest of them: Sokka, the other East High first-liners, Teo, and Yue.
There’d been a whole thing, this past semester: Katara instantly being weirdly attached to the new student, Yue, and then coming out as a musical theater performer. Stuff happened, the hockey team and the drama department almost drove their entire high school to a civil war, then stuff got resolved, and Katara and Yue starred in the spring musical. Hakoda cried happy tears at his daughter opening up a new aspect of herself.
Sokka’s loose on the details; he mostly kept his head down and concentrated on hockey, because he’s always been an athlete and will forever be an athlete. What can he say? He’s a simple guy.

“So have you?” Jamie demanded.
“What?”
“Done gay shit!” Jamie exploded.
Roy exhaled heavily through his nose. Fucking Christ. “Yes.”
Jamie threw up his hands in disgust. “Fucking unbelievable! I’m the hottest bloke on the team, bar none, and I’m the only one that’s never done gay shit! The boys should be all over me!”
“You listed four people, Tartt. That’s not even a quarter of the team.”
Jamie ignored him. “And even you’ve done gay shit! I didn’t know that was allowed!”
“If you want to go do gay shit go find someone to do gay shit with,” Roy said curtly, hoping to end the conversation and return to sanity.
“Right,” Jamie said, nodding resolutely. “Good idea, coach.” His pout eased, replaced with a look of determination that Roy really should have taken for a warning sign because a moment later Jamie softened his mouth, stepped forward into Roy’s space, and kissed him.

Summary
Zuko doesn’t have time to deal with pressure for an arranged marriage, especially since he isn’t even sure he likes women that way. (A realisation that has absolutely nothing to do with Ambassador Sokka - shut up, Suki.) Katara and Aang have broken up again, and the Northern Water Tribe are pushing for a match between the North and South.
Which leads Zuko and Katara to develop a genius, foolproof, only slightly drunken plan: they can pretend to date for the length of Katara’s stay in the palace, giving them both a brief reprieve from political pressures on their love lives.
