    Summary

Whenever the children of Castrum Kremnos would ask their parents about the missing prince who used to play with them, they were told a story about sacrifice.

It was the story of the crown prince who chose to give up his life to a sea monster to appease the Titan Phagousa, who had grown angry at their kingdom. The prince was sent to the beast on a boat, and just as he was about to meet his death, he was rescued by a wandering knight.

They would fall in love and travel the world, living their happily ever after.

It was a good story— for children.

But there was no knight, and there was certainly no rescue. There was only Mydei, the sea, and monster that claimed him.

    Summary

Some people can say Mydeimos, last prince of Castrum Kremnos, has a betting problem.

Mydei, however—in the most politest of terms—is in it to win it.

In not so polite terms, he calls everyone else critical of his betting skills losers. He admits that it’s a bit toxic of him, but that’s to show that he doesn’t take bets lightly at all, and more that he honors each bout with utmost dignity and sheer competitiveness.

So the moment Mydei sees the emblem stamped on the flags of the city-state, he turns to Hyacine and says, "I bet you three balance coins that that's our monster."

Hyacine sputters, even as Little Ica eyeballs the emblem and agrees with a solemn, "Doo doot."

There's a unicorn. And a fertility festival. Mydei's a virgin and that shouldn't matter until it does.

Phainon’s favorite restaurant in Okhema also employs Phainon’s favorite person in Okhema. It’s simply too bad no one else in the city has the good taste to agree with him on either count.

or, the one where Phainon’s favorite restaurant is transparently a Chrysos Heirs mob front.

“You forget so easily after taking my heart? My Husband is as fickle as every human being I’ve had the displeasure to come across.” He said, his voice rattling like a growl in his throat, almost animalistic as he bared his knife sharp teeth in a snarl. It is only then that Phainon noticed the blond of the man’s hair bleeding into red, the swirl of red tattoos curling around his body enticingly…and the smattering of iridescent coppery scales on his cheeks and shoulders. The colour of his scales were far too similar to the giant dragon he had slayed a mere week ago, the familiarity of the pretty ember-like eyes finally dawning upon him with a gasp.

“My…Mydeimos of Castrum Kremnos?” He asked, faint.

Phainon, a man trying to make ends meet for his village accidentally marries the dragon he was supposed to kill.

    Summary

A virgin all his life, there’s no way he’s being woken up in the middle of the night to a wet beauty on his lap. The same beauty he’d only masturbated to a few hours ago. The same beauty that conveniently wandered into the woods behind his isolated village a day ago.

But said feline beauty only blinks slowly. A sweet, tart scent coming from him.

“Because you approached me,” the stranger reminds Phainon, who now pants through a slightly open mouth (like a dehydrated dog), suddenly clawing his shoulder with a scornful huff; ears pulling back. “Then you bit me and ran away. Now, will you choose to finish what you started?”

Phainon wakes up to a naked human with cat ears on his lap—after accidentally biting said cat and running away before getting his name.
