How convenient. Someone is looking for a god and he’s right here - usually he has to convince people to kneel for him and this woman has already done it without prompting. She seems to be in some sort of desperate situation, given those prayers, and those who are in dire straits are the easiest to manipulate; there’s not even illusion or magic needed for that, only a flick of the wrist and the person is happy to follow along and see you as a savior. He smooths down his hair and steps out from behind the tree.
“And, I, dear one, have heard your prayer.”
