Goro gave a snort, quick and mocking over the ticking of the clock.
"Do you now?"
Ren smiled and nodded enthusiastically. He leaned forward on the counter, resting on his elbows.
"We're just fated to end up together. I can feel it."
Goro raised an eyebrow at him.
"Are we now?"
"Yep. I know it."
Goro picked up his cup, gently blowing on the steaming coffee inside.
"What tells you that? The sentimental part of your brain?"
Ren reached forward and gently placed a hand on top of Goro's. He gave a soft squeeze.
"We're bound by fate. We simply can't avoid each other."
Goro placed his cup down and rested his hand on top of Ren's. After a quiet moment of contemplation, he leaned in, gently brushing his nose against Ren's cheek.
"You're such a sentimental fool."

Summary
The ground shook. Ren shot his arms out to maintain his balance.
Crimson dust started gently falling from the ceiling. The cages above him groaned, a metallic screeching cutting through the silence. He could smell rust, so thick on the air, he could taste it.
A blinding light exploded outwards. swallowing up the room, and time itself. Ren could faintly hear his pulse in his ears, as his being was enveloped in cold light.
When it dissipated, he opened his eyes to find himself in Shibuya Crossing, facing the large billboard in the centre. Around him, his friends stood, all in a similar state of confusion. Static crackled loudly, and Ren felt the sound press in on all sides.
Overhead, the skies cried blood.

Summary
A soft breeze dipped into the alleyway, picking up strands of Akechi’s hair and sending them floating on the wind, carrying his scent. Ren inhaled as he instinctively took a step backward, his back landing against the metal door to the club and slamming it shut, locking them both outside.
The scent of Akechi took Ren back thirteen years to that very scene. Soft and light, such a contrast to this man’s aura. It felt absolutely lethal. And yet, Ren’s mouth watered despite his quenched thirst. He palmed the brick wall behind him, nails digging into their porous surface. His fangs began to creep out of their hiding spot, every inch of him yearning, begging for a taste.

Summary
After Persephone's departure, Nyx reveals she managed to bend Fate for the Underworld's Prince. Still aching from his wife's loss, Hades bids a loyal house shade to dispose of the boy. There is a moment where Patroclus only has the impression of gold—golden curls resting against broad tanned shoulders and a gold circlet hidden in his hair—before separate features emerge to create the image of a prince, finely albeit simply dressed in a white shirt tucked into a pair of dark blue pants.
“The shoemaker’s apprentice,” Patroclus corrects him gently. He bows just a little. Green eyes watch as he does. “I’m here to take some measurements. For your new—” His eyes fall on the prince’s feet and the words die in his throat. He’s wearing a heavy wooden shoe on his left foot and a cloth slipper on the other. Patroclus tries to take it in stride but finds himself looking questioningly at the prince.
“You are curious about my shoe,” the prince says. His voice is perfectly steady, unreadable.
In the tiny kingdom of Phthia, a golden prince is cursed with invulnerability except for a vulnerable heel. An exile apprenticed to a shoemaker is commissioned by the palace to create a shoe the prince can fight in.
A fairy tale about a curse, a magical shoe, a war, a doomed hero, an exile, destiny, and love despite everything.
