Summary
Fumi gets a call from his brother, and, while trying to figure out what to do about it, he heads to Himehiko Shrine. He isn't expecting anyone else to be there, much less Tanakamigi Chui.
An exploration of the parallels and foiling, and of Fumi's internal conflicts and motivations.
You should be familiar with Fumi's route and the 1/31 event with Chui on Kisa route. Fumi's chapter of the Summer Kageki Light Novel is heavily discussed and referenced. You don't need to have read it, it will be summarized in the story. In it, Fumi dances the part of Takihime for Kamiya and Momonashi, then has a discussion with Chui.

Summary
Every morning, the actors of the Tamasaka Troupe run up from the theater to the shrine. On this particular morning, three of it's newest members find something else to take care of.
A post-canon 3Q exploration of their relationship with each other, themselves, and their pasts. Could be set after any route other than one of theirs.
Broken into three chapters for easier reading, but written all together for the JJTOBER prompt "cat".

Summary
Mare has lost a mitten, and Kisa offers to help her look for it — a quest that takes them on a shopping trip through Tamasaka Hills. Basically, it's a totally normal girls' day out, and Kisa doesn't know how to feel about that.
Written for the JJTOBER prompt "Mitten".

Summary
" 'Have you come for an evening at the theater, ma’am?' Kokuto says, with an affected voice of some old butler. 'I’m afraid you’re several weeks too early.'
'It’s my birthday,' Tsukasa says, 'so I’m allowed to do whatever I want.' "
Two class leads, with a penchant for breaking into Univeil Theater when they really aren't supposed to, have a long conversation on a midautumn's night.
Written for and set on Tsukasa's birthday as well as the JJTOBER prompt "Dream".

Summary
"Fumi doesn’t know why he said anything. He never does, usually — he just lets the old poetry and lyrics run themselves dry in his own head. They have as little place at this school as those movements. But this time, he’d shared them. Maybe it’s the sentimentality of the season. Maybe it’s because of who was asking."
A fic that continues after the Fumi weekend event on October 4th, "Autumn Butterfly," where Fumi tells Kisa a little bit about a performance from his childhood. There's a lot Fumi's carrying on his shoulders, some of it from Univeil, and some of it from beyond it's walls.
Written for the JJTOBER prompt "maple leaves"

Summary
After everything that's happened in the past few days, Kisa can't quite get back to sleep. Instead, she decides to go for a walk up the mountain.
How she gets back down depends on who she's closest to. A pick-your-own route fic with a chapter and version for each of the main Quartz Boys. Feel free to read them in any order you like.
Written for the JJTOBER prompt "Cold Mornings."

Summary
Much has changed since Tamasaka Himehiko was first enshrined as a god of the stage. People don't believe or worship like they used to. But they still flock to theatre. They still yearn for it's lights. They still sweat, and cry, and bleed for it. And so, Tamasaka Himehiko thinks, maybe it's time to make them a new kind of god.
This is an April Fools fic taking itself too seriously, based on the unholy amalgamation of several different spoiler rich crack theories. I didn't mean for this to happen.

Summary
Sometimes, it's harder to live for the stage than to die for it.
A version of the events of 1/17 on Neji's route from his point of view, except that Tanakamigi Chui makes a different choice, about watching until the end. It's an exploration of his mental state, of Chui and Neji's dynamic, and the layers to his story and the one he's telling himself.

Summary
"Nico just puts a hand on his forehead, pushes the glasses back up on his face one more time, and whispers soft and low and somehow clear through the fog and the thrumming sound, 'Not here, not tonight,' with an authority that should not be possible with that much blue eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick. And when his last attempt to pull away and back into that sea of people and flesh fails, again, Uta just collapses into Nico’s chest and moans, like some kind of mourner, as he’s led out into the muggy air outside the club."
Surprise! It's another 'very little happens but extended metaphors and clown musings' exploration of the dynamics between the various members of this little group. This one is between Uta and Nico, set at some point when Uta was younger.

Summary
Children of the Garden are twisted seedlings with withering roots grown in poisoned soil. Their bodies are incongruous with themselves. Born into a cage to age fast and die early. There was never any guarantee they'd last long enough to do what any of them planned to get done. Things could have gone differently, and who knows what that might have changed.
Don't tell me you haven't thought about it, two sons of the garden secretly fighting the same fight, working on the same treasonous plans with the same people, and never telling each other about it? Maybe what it would take is for something to go unexpectedly wrong.

Summary
Komaeda Nagito is alive on the other side of several killing games, on the other side of the end of the world. For however much longer his luck will hold out, that is. And he's already gotten so, so lucky.
Post-DR3 exploration of life and death, sickness and love, and the legacy and remnants of hope and despair.
Less grandly, some post-canon KomaHina sickfic angst posted for Komaeda's birthday.

Summary
Uta's world has never been all that stable, and neither has he. That's not something that can change so easily, even if he wants it to. It's not that he isn't trying, it's just that the riptide is still there and the water is still so dark, so cold, so deep.
Another exploration of Uta's mindset. Another snippet of something, another night, another attempt, another rooftop.

Summary
There was a night where little Souta almost considered giving up on all of it. An utterly uneventful night, in the grand scale of the grand production, but Nico considers it a beautiful little scene all the same.

Summary
The thing is, they’re on a roof, a high one, and that brings back memories.
The thing is, the rooftop overlooks one of those still coiled, still living branching arms of Dragon.
The thing is, this idea of moving forward, is funny, isn’t it?
The thing is—“You know, you probably could have stopped all of this, if you’d just asked, Renji-kun.”

Summary
You know when you're in your early 20s, when life is a miserable mess of attempts at responsibility or direction and random whims? The world kind of sucks, and you're somewhere between justified teenage anger and jaded cynicism, resting lazily on a ledge you're not sure there's a right way down from?
And it's really, really hot out.
Another short clown fic. For Uta and Itori this time.

When Matsuri opens the door to his apartment on Christmas Eve, there is a ghost inside.
This is a ghost story. A haunting. A history. A story about what does not stay dead.

Summary
There is something universal about being a showman. From boardrooms to boardwalks, if you look past the glamours and smoke. He was born to hold up the rigging, to shift the backgrounds, to set and reset the stage, but there is oh so much you can learn, watching from the wings.
Or -- The lead up through Tokyo Ghoul’s opening act as told through an extended theater and circus metaphor from the point of view of the character setting it all in motion.

He's supposed to be dead, but he's not. And it's not for a lack of trying.
