Summary
The goosebumps on Todd’s neck began to rise. He had a very, very bad feeling. A heavy sort of weight could be felt from behind him. His nerves had gone quiet, adrenaline pumping through his veins. He heard a click from a nearby room, one that he had heard only in movies, never in real life.
He strode to the room and his heart dropped. There was Neil, shirtless, his eyes closed, a pistol pressed against his temple. Todd didn’t know what to do, but he reacted anyway, throwing the door open and jumping over the desk.
