“I think, at this point, we are friends, no?” Ilya asks, his back still to Shane.
“Are we?” Shane asks, and Ilya’s lip quirks at the way he can hear the curiosity bleed through Shane’s tone, despite the way he’s clearly trying so hard to sound indifferent.
“I consider you a friend, yes. We had food together. Hung out,” he explains.
“Okay. Sure, yeah,” Shane agrees, meeting Ilya’s eyes as he turns around to face him. “Friends.”
“Good. It is important you know this,” Ilya asks, stepping across the slightly echoey room, his hand going to tilt Shane’s jaw up. “It’s important for you to know I like you,” he says, watching with amusement as more confusion spreads across Shane’s pretty face.
“Why?”
“Because,” Ilya says softly, condescendingly as he leans down, his mouth close to Shane’s. Shane is so receptive to him, his lips already parting, expecting a kiss. “I am going to fuck you like I hate you,” he finishes, watching as Shane’s jaw drops a little, his breath hitching.

He presses play, and is greeted with a dull thud of a fist connecting with a ribcage. He’s broken enough ribs to know that it didn’t do the trick, but hurt Hyuntak enough to make him want to cower and crawl away in pain. To make the skin on his chest bloom purple with bruises by tomorrow and ache for weeks, reminding him constantly of Seongje. If it’s the only way he can make his chest feel anything, he’ll take it. He’ll take any opportunity to make Hyuntak’s body remember his presence, Baekjin’s orders or not.
—or, Seongje is in a bad mood after Baekjin threatens him in the warehouse and tries to take his mind off of it the best way he knows how. it doesn't necessarily go as planned

Silence. He heard a chocked noise from his right. Dong-Ju looked startled.

Dong-Ju did in fact not sleep in a different bedroom. Hell— they didn’t even sleep at all.
Han-na was side eyeing the both of them with so much suspicion that it made Jong-Hyeon visibly shiver. He felt trapped. Dong-Ju didn’t even face her anymore. He was hiding his flushed face below the peak of his cap.
But his stupid ears were peaking out. Red and glowing like they knew they’d betrayed the both of them first.
