“Okay, so you want to fuck him,” Minjeong deadpans, somehow managing to focus on writing notes and dealing with Renjun at the same time, “How is this my problem?”
“I do not want to fuck him.”
“Oh right, sorry,” she rolls her eyes sardonically, “You want him to fuck you. There, is that better?”
Renjun sputters, absolutely appalled by the - completely false, thank you very much - accusation, “I don’t want anything to do with him, are you insane?”
She finally turns away from her computer with a sigh of evidently pent up exasperation, “Renjun, there’s a fine line between hate and unresolved sexual tension, and you and Yangyang are at least 10 miles past it.”

Summary
Renjun uses his free hand to play with Yangyang’s fingers, shrugging casually and letting the corner of his lips curve up into a smirk. “I mean,” he starts, meeting his eyes under the pretense of innocence, “We don’t have to, of course. But then I’m gonna have to assume you’re just not a good kisser.”
Yangyang’s eyes narrow. He raises an eyebrow and breaks out into a slow grin, recognizing the bait.
“Is that a challenge, Huang Renjun?”

Summary
To be perfectly honest, Renjun has never quote-on-quote ‘met’ Liu Yangyang. But with all he knows about his opinions on international policy, he might as well. That’s the strange thing about zoom classes. The only face he can put to the nebulous (and truly horrific) creature that is Liu Yangyang, is the blurry crying cat meme that he has as his profile picture on Canvas and Zoom. He’s begun to imagine him that way. A tiny, pixelated cat with watery eyes typing up horribly haughty and contrarian replies to his discussion board posts.

Summary
“See. You just want to see cats? Is it your first time? Are you heartbroken and you need some cuddles, or are you looking to adopt? Give me something to work with, here,” Renjun replies, exasperated. Yangyang turns for support, but Hendery has disappeared. Yangyang spots him at the end of the long corridor crouched down as he looks inside one of the play areas.
“Are you offering cuddles?” Yangyang will make himself heartbroken for that, thanks.
“I will call the police on you if you take a step towards me,” Renjun warns, which is rude, but okay. Yangyang holds his hands up.
“Fine, okay, I’m looking to adopt. And before you judge me I totally have had cats before okay, it’s just that I moved out from my gay surrogate dads’ apartment recently because they’re boring, and they get to keep the cats so I miss having one because fish are cool but they’re not a cat.”
Yangyang is looking to adopt a cat. He finds a cat, and much more besides.
