Chenle feels her face turn red under Jaemin’s gaze, heat spreading all the way to her ears as she stutters out a response. Jaemin only grins wider, bringing her arm forward to rewind the episode. Chenle can’t help but glance at Jaemin’s arm, running her fingers over her muscles before she even realises.
“Awww Chenle! Am I getting buffer?” Jaemin drawls smirking at Chenle, all her teeth on display. She flexes her arm, muscles bulging as she wiggles her eyes at Chenle.
“Shut up, it’s just the lighting,” Chenle huffs, pouting when Jaemin laughs and settles back into the couch, missing Jaemin’s warmth already, feeling her face turn somehow even more red than it already was.
Jaemin starts building up muscle, and Chenle isn't bothered by it at all, no really she isn't.

“Yeah, I get that. But he’s just so, so...” He made a face. “Vacant. There’s no there there. That would have to get old pretty quickly.”
She reached over and prodded him a little, her fingertips light against his ribs. “I get that he’s no Batman, but c’mon. Not everybody’s going to have access to a space station full of superheroes in skin-tight outfits to pick from. Some of us mere mortals are stuck having to settle for impossibly handsome, wealthy, sexually cooperative dullards.”

Summary
Spencer takes Hotch’s hand in his own and brings it across the space between them to rest over his knees, cradled in both of his hands like something precious. Hotch doesn’t object, silently watching Spencer’s movements with a wary tilt of his head.
“Do you always change parts of yourself to manage other’s perceptions?” The question trips past Spencer's lips before he can think better of it.
Hotch tenses, his hand clenching and unclenching in Spencer’s hold like he wants to pull away from the conversation, from Spencer. His hand stays in place.
“Doesn’t everyone?” He asks quietly, and something about his tone makes Spencer look up for the first time since he started this bizarre interrogation.
Spencer almost doesn’t want to break it to him.
“No,” he says, looking back to the hand in his lap and lacing their fingers together for a selfish moment, a breath, “not everyone.”
AKA A night out with the team quickly devolves, and Spencer’s still dizzy trying to put it back together.
