In the background the news chimes about the details on how Shido had collapsed just an hour ago in the Diet Building, and Akira wraps his arms around Goro’s neck. Goro’s hands settle on his waist as the newscaster mentions that the cause of death appears to have been a mental shutdown. Even though Goro’s head no longer rests on his shoulder, he hasn’t taken a step back, the two of them still pressed chest to chest as they sway to the rhythmatic announcement of Shido’s untimely demise.
