Summary
Pyro points a finger at him, poking him right in the chest. The point of contact is warmer than Scott has been in days. "You don't get to tell me how to live my life."
Scott takes hold of his hand, both of his enclosing around the tan skin. "You can’t push everyone away and expect nothing to happen." He cuts Pyro off the second he sees the man try to butt in. "If you turn away from everyone who ever tries to care about you, you’ll end up dead." He'll forever deny the way his voice wavers over the word. He keeps his voice steady. "And no one will notice. They won’t care."
"Maybe I want that." Pyro sneers.

"Why is he-" A member spoke up just as Olsted returned, causing her to slam her mouth shut. Legundo craned his neck to get a better look at his mentor's chosen supplies. There was water, little packs of food, a few weapons and…Legundo forced himself to blink several times.
Those were his potions. Some of them were useful-health and strength, for example-but some of them had a purplish glint that indicated to him that they were the failed batches he had made in his time of learning. Had Olsted…replicated them? But what good were failed potions for the clearly rebellious group?

Summary
It had been five years since the Creaking King was defeated. While there wasn't peace, the war between the kingdoms was a lot more peaceful than it was before, but especially, in the days around the date of the final battle against the Creaking King every year there was a temporary truce between the kingdoms, out of respect of the fallen in the battle.
On the day before the exact date that would mark those five years, Katie was heading to her brother's grave. But something had changed.Or, in other words, Nom comes back from the dead as a dragon
