Summary
Jun-tae looks down, catches a glimpse of his dirty woolen vest. The events that led to this moment flash before him. It hits him then, a dooming realization, that he's the sheep, and Seong-je the wolf.
It's a good analogy, for Jun-tae feels the part, like a mindless sheep that fell into the wolf's trap. How pathetic, how gullible and naive.
It's his incompetence that is the reason he finds himself in this situation. No one is to blame but himself. That's why he deserves to bear the consequences of his foolishness. Maybe the punches that are due will etch a lesson into him, teach him not to be so easy. Maybe the hurt will feel more like a caring sting designed to keep him safe and quiet. Designed to remind him not to stray from his lane, not to be the sheep that sought alliance with a wolf.

Ukai’s eyes flare wide. Even in the orange light that drains them of color, Ittetsu can make out the adorable darkening of Ukai’s ears and track its bloom over his cheek, down the side of his neck.
“No. I-I’m. I’ve only been with women. I only like women.”
Ittetsu hums thoughtfully. He purses his lips. Visibly, Ukai struggles not to look at them. He holds Ittetsu’s gaze with the desperation of a man scrabbling for purchase on a cliff’s edge. Ittetsu smiles.
“Have you ever thought about it?”

He's confused on why he's reacting so easily now, especially during their hang-out while she's only wearing a tank top during hot summer hours.
It doesn't help that he finds similarites of that picture, which he had jerked off to, in her room. He's really fucked now.
