Logan tried to imagine the scenario. Maybe in some alternate universe, they'd leave the tunnel together, tell off Paradox, then grab a bite to eat. Maybe they'd go to part ways, but Wade would call after him. Maybe in this bizarre alternate universe, he'd turn around—maybe because part of him had hoped Wade would call his name. Maybe he'd go with him and meet his blind roommate and all the other people from the photograph—all the people in the world Wade Wilson cared about. Maybe he could be one of the people in that picture someday. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad.

You never wake up knowing exactly where you’ll be or what you’ll be doing on the day your world ends. Those days are just days too. Sometimes things happen and those things change everything, and that’s the hardest part—knowing that one day ahead, maybe nothing will ever be the same again, and knowing there will be nothing you can do to keep that day from coming.

Dominic had only met him once or twice, having worked at the Bugle for less than a month, but he had seemed like such a genuinely nice guy. Summary
He weighs the options in his mind. It’s an impossible decision. On one hand, he could get himself to safety and save Brooklyn from apparently being sucked into a black hole, but on the other hand… Spider-Man is dying; that much is clear to Miles. Despite his insistence that everything is going to be fine, the man’s breathing is becoming more labored by the second, so if Miles is going to save him he’ll have to act fast. Looking towards the still form slumped against the debris, Miles makes his decision.
Basically, Miles saves RIPeter :')

Tentatively, Aki followed the leading edge of Angel’s wing, from half-way up the bone protruding from his shoulder, along the curve and downwards, over the large ‘flight’ feathers and back. A slow, smooth motion. If Angel’s hair had been soft, his wings were something else entirely, impossibly light, as if made from the air itself.

What would have happened, if Angel Devil and Aki Hayakawa had been given a bit more time between their first touch and their fateful trip to Hell? Maybe it would have went something like this, with Angel straying closer and closer to Aki's little band of adopted misfits, and the strange relationship between them becoming more difficult - then impossible - to ignore.

Summary
When he rises, he shakes his head slightly. His wet hair clings to his skin and forms ringlets that frame his face. Water runs over his features in thin streams, pooling slightly on his upper lip, droplets race down his cheek, over his chest. There’s a lump in Aki’s throat. He fights the urge to tuck the strand of hair that sticks to the bridge of Angel’s nose behind his ear.
Their faces are inches apart. Aki thinks faintly that if he could, perhaps in another world, he’d close that distance.

As he watches Angel stand calf deep in the water, bathed in sunlight and happy, Aki realizes two things.
One is that he is hopelessly in love with him.

“I never thanked you,” Aki winces at the way his voice cracks and Angel looks up at him from where he’s crouched to watch the small fish swim by. He’s visibly confused, tilting his head enough that the tips of his hair dip into the water. “For saving me that day on the beach.”

“Do you even want to prove me wrong?” Aki scoffs. Angel's eyes widen slightly, like he’d been caught doing something forbidden. The air suddenly stills.
“Would it be so hopeless?” The devil finally asks, and it sounds so genuine, Aki can’t help but consider his words. To ask a man to change his values, and a devil to change his nature.
“It might be."
