Summary
Cirrus slowly shifted his view over to the boy sitting at the desk. He adjusted the focus, zooming in slightly. With each next photo, his eyes picked up on tiny, captivating details.
Chestnut hair that had gotten progressively messier throughout the day, actually a combination of at least five different shades of brown, reflecting warmly in the light of the lamp. Click.
A sloping nose, just on the verge of being pointy, that always had slight indentations from those glasses. Click.
From the side, an eye that was a deep chocolate color, sometimes liable to subtly change in hue based on the time of day, long eyelashes surrounding it. Click.

A fic where Cirrus discovers a passion for taking pictures through the power of pining and realizes that he doesn't hate being photographed when it's a certain boy holding the camera. Oh, and he's well aware of the irony as he gradually adds to a certain folder on his computer.@unbelie59450654 suggested the prompt of Cirrus participating in Skylar's hobby, later realizing he likes taking pictures of the other boy.

Summary
Here with his other friend, Cirrus seemed totally at ease. He was relaxed.
Months ago, Skylar thought that the nervous reactions around him were just a temporary phase. Once they knew each other better, the discomfort would fade. Instead, it had only gotten worse and worse over time.
He was the problem, wasn't he? Skylar was the source of this enduring unease.

Summary
Cirrus tried his hardest to keep staring at the essay that he was close to completing. His eyes inevitably betrayed him after a few seconds.
Skylar had on one of his plain, short-sleeved shirts. It was a couple of sizes too big for him, like most of the taller boy’s clothes were, almost fully obscuring the shorts he was wearing. That made it all the more painfully cute.
These days, he’d developed a growing need to witness Skylar wearing his things. He wasn't exactly sure when it started, and he felt pretty certain it wasn't going to end.

Every time they grabbed the other person’s hand to get their attention, leaned in close simply because they were in proximity to each other, stayed up late laughing at ridiculous things, shared their food with each other, or did any of the countless other things they did, Skylar felt this undeniable, fierce longing.
He wanted to be around Cirrus. That was the one, simple thing he knew was absolutely true.
His mind kept wandering. It must’ve continued to stray away, eventually sinking into a warm tranquility.

Summary
As Cirrus starts to become more conscious of the whirlwind of feelings he has for Skylar, keeping his emotions contained becomes downright impossible. He doesn't understand why he's suddenly more sensitive than ever around the other boy. However, his jealousy and possessiveness rise to destructive heights too.
He'll ultimately have to make a decision. He can cling to the illusion of control and completely lose the person he has feelings for. Or he can try letting go and trust that this person will choose him too.

Summary
There were many ways that Chan-il could be totally oblivious. But it still annoyed him that being a nice person somehow automatically established him as completely dense.
And, it bothered him, as he quietly stood in the doorway and looked into the classroom, to know that his friend of several years continued to totally underestimate him.

Chan-il observes moments between Cirrus and Skylar throughout the semester that make him start to question their relationship and put seemingly unrelated pieces together. With those realizations, he forms new connections and discovers things about himself too. All of this does, however, come with the price of overthinking everything, navigating some incredibly awkward moments, and having to keep secrets.
