Summary
The New York City Science Innovation Challenge was an opportunity for Midtown to really put itself on the map. Peter had spent months designing and building their device for the competition, but he never expected for Flash to claim the design was all his. As everyone flocked to Flash, praising him and even investors reaching out, Peter didn't think things could get any worse. The winning team receives a field trip to Stark Industries and with Flash bragging at every turn about how he invented ARES, Peter felt like his heart was being ripped from his chest. He had no idea that Tony was watching or that Tony had a plan on how to deal with not only Flash but the school that continuously failed his kid.

Summary
Going on a field trip was typically the best part about school. Until that field trip led Midtown High to Stark Industries. The one place in all of New York City that Peter’s classmates and teachers didn’t believe he interned for. When accusations of forgery surface, Peter is facing expulsion from Midtown and a permanent black mark on his record that could make it impossible for him to get into any University. If there was one thing Tony Stark was not going to stand for. It was his kid being called a liar and having his future at risk. One thing is for certain, Midtown High was not prepared for this field trip.

“Look kid, you come here 24/7, I think you can survive a day out of the tower,” Mr Stark had said through the phone, voice holding a bit of amusement, the last bit of the sentence likely joking.
He had to cancel due to a bunch of meetings filling up his schedule.
“No yeah! It’s fine!” Peter had replied cheerfully through the phone, holding back his tears and a choked sob as he stared down at the shattered plate with the only leftovers left on the dirty ground.
