Ronan in his hockey gear, towering over Adam with his extra three inches from his skates is hot. But Ronan in that gear, playing well is so hot it's almost unbearable most of the nights Adam goes to see Ronan's men's league games. And he's been going for almost four months.
When Adam checked Ronan out in yoga class, he knew Ronan had to be athletic. He even figured Ronan might play hockey based on the look of Ronan's ass. Adam was right. Ronan does play hockey and he is good at playing hockey. And Ronan being good at hockey drives Adam so insane he can't wait for them to get home to do something about it.

“Because I might, just possibly, be too emotionally invested when you meet. And I shouldn’t have to worry about influencing your decision,” Gansey said.
Adam didn’t have to see Blue’s little satisfied nod to know that he was quoting her. So Adam asked her directly, “What do you think about all this?”
“It could be a beautiful disaster that ends in tears, rage, and possible arson. Or it could end with fireworks of another, totally different kind.”
“Blue!” both Adam and Gansey exclaimed, in very different tones of outrage.

After everything they'd been through, now, Adam was free to touch any part of Ronan he wanted, knew it would be welcomed, celebrated, that they could find joy in each other in any way they desired.
Although the sheet and comforter were pulled up to his waist, Adam figured Ronan was probably bare under there, too, and suddenly he yearned.
As if Ronan had heard the change in his thoughts from fond memory to aching lust, he blinked his eyes open and looked right at Adam.
