In a previous timeline, everything went to shit. Baji, Emma, and Draken died, Mikey’s mental state took a nosedive as a result, Takemichi was killed when he wasn’t supposed to be, and even you were fatally injured in that battle of the Three Deities, to add further insult.
But before the jaws of death could seize you, you were offered one last opportunity at fixing everything that went wrong and save the lives of your loved ones. Despite the risks, you were more than willing to take that chance, even if it would only be one.
