Oh wait, Beidou brought a stowaway from Inazuma with her. And here comes Kazuha. And he's stolen Beidou's flask. And now they are fighting. The two of them are going to be absolute chums, I'm sure of it.
Alternatively, Beidou has unknowingly adopted a wanted criminal for a son and she's bringing Kazuha home to meet his other mum.

“And what’s that lure gonna be, huh?” Beidou shot back.
“Beidou, please—“ Kazuha cut in, pleading with her to back down. They didn’t know what Dottore was capable of.
“I’ll ensure this gets to him,” Dottore held up a small glass bottle—empty, though corked. Beidou and Kazuha exchanged a look of confusion. “I aim to fill it with your blood,” he said, looking at Kazuha. “You look rather promising. Perhaps I can fit a bit of experimentation into it, as well.”

Summary
Kazuha hides what he thinks is a simple injury, from the crew but it turns into a battle for his life and he realises that he is cared for.
Excerpt:
“Are you hurt?” The captain questioned, eyeing Kazuha’s trembling form with concern.
Kazuha didn’t know why exactly he answered as he did, maybe he disregarded his wound as unimportant, or maybe he didn’t wish to burden the one who had given so much to him, in any case, he shook his head in denial.
“I’m fine,” he lied, trying to reassure the electro user, an exhausted smile plastered on his face.“Good, we should get back. Archon knows we need rest.” Kazuha silently agreed, a meal and a peaceful sleep sounded like bliss.
Mentally preparing himself, he struggled to keep up with Beidou’s long strides, trying to ignore the scorching pain in every step.
Why was an arrow wound hurting so much?

She’s not mother material. Hasn’t ever wanted to be a mother. Didn’t even consider it. But the universe knows better, and she finds herself every bit the mother she never thought she’d be.
Now, if only there was a way to explain this to Ningguang that wouldn’t result in mocking laughter and a great deal of smugness.
