    Summary

There is something living inside Alex. It has sunk its teeth deep into the very core of his being and seems to flow through his veins like a parasite. Alex is nothing more than an empty husk, a hollowed out host for the thing inside him that only seems to know hunger. And Nigel loves it more than life itself.

Alex is unsure how to handle himself now he's... something else. 'Vampire' is perhaps the best word for it, however he does not like how that makes him sound like some fairy-tale creature. Alex's struggles in coming to terms with this new life are certainly not helped by the new student, Nigel, who has been dumped into his room and who seems to have an unexplainable fascination with the workings of his now monstrous form.
