“No, more.” Touch me like you touch Akutagawa after missions, like you want to protect him. Look at me like you look at Tachihara like he’s handsome. You’re my dog. Touch me like you’re attracted to me – like you love me.
“How?” Chuuya’s eyebrows are knitted and his soothing fingers falter. A worried expression on his face.
“Like–you–I,” Slowly, slender fingers wrap around Chuuya’s own and guide them towards his chest. “When you’re too near to me during missions, my – this part of me speeds up. Like I can’t breathe.”

“Dazai hasn’t said a word since the ability activated.”
Chuuya’s blood ran cold. He returned his gaze to the miniature Dazai, and felt his chest clench.
Even though he had to be terrified, Dazai sat stiffly on Naomi’s lap. His face showed no fear, just a blank stare that was all too familiar to Chuuya. He looked like a lifeless doll with no agency of its own.
“Dazai, do you know who I am?” Chuuya asked, keeping his voice even.
OR Chuuya gets hit by an ability, turning Dazai into a baby & leaving Chuuya to take care of him

Chuuya scoffs, and there’s something else to his tone that Dazai can’t make out, something other than Annoyed At Dazai. “Did you get hit in the fight, idiot?”
“No?” Dazai guesses.
But really, he doesn’t know. What fight? Dazai doesn’t remember a fight, and the last time they had a mission, Dazai wasn’t hurt. Chuuya’s making a mistake.
Dazai can maybe hear soft murmurs that sound a little like what the fuck, but he can’t be bothered with whatever Chuuya’s problem is right now. He’s tired, and his head hurts bad enough that he might actually consider taking painkillers if he were allowed to have them.
