A human being without feelings is a silent echo in the desert of their own existence. They are not a monster with sharp teeth, but an absence, an empty house where there was never laughter or tears. They are a spectator of their own life, a ghost walking among the living, imitating gestures they never understand.
They do not know the sting of sadness or the light of joy. There is no love to lift them up nor anger to consume them. Only silence. A deep silence that extends from their mind to the end of their days. Their destiny is not glory or hell, but the cold indifference of a stone. Such a being has no story to tell, only an existence to fulfill, like a tool without purpose.

“Well, yeah.” Dazai shrugged. “That’s all it takes, then?”
Chuuya refused to dignify him with a response.
“Y'know you make yourself such an easy target when you get all pissy, ever think about that?” Dazai remarked snidely. “I’m helping you, and I’m not even asking for payment. Just humor me this once.”
Chuuya lifted his gaze once more, a crease running between his furrowed brows. “I didn’t ask you to do anything.”
“Yeah, you sorta threatened me, actually.”

Dazai looked over at Chuuya who looked nervous. That unsettled the bandaged boy a tad. Chuuya never showed anything other indifference or anger. "Relax, Chuuya," Dazai drawled. "We always succeed. We will this time as well. It's childs' play." Chuuya glanced at him, still chewing his thumb nail. "What? Oh. Yeah, totally." And once the light turned, he walked ahead of his partner.
Huh. That was odd.
