Summary
Having her ties cut from her Paintress counterpart, Clea is finally free to return to her childhood home — or at least something closely resembling it. But the slight strangeness of the manor where the painted Dessendre siblings finally reunite in is nothing compared to the uncanniness of their eldest sister, now closer to a Nevron than human, and permanently so.
For Clea it might just be the longest day of her life, becoming aware of the many ways in which she has become ill-suited for the life people want her to return back to.

Summary
Clea is no longer confined within the walls of the Flying Manor. She's home now, reunited with what is still left of her painted family, and ready to reclaim what she can of the life stolen from her nearly seven decades ago. But she will never be entirely human again, memories of a life lived as a Nevron difficult to forget, and the still remaining parts of her overpaint influencing what has become of her. Sometimes this means discovering new and unusual aspects about herself — like the recent revelation that she has something of a prey drive, and just how entertaining it can be to indulge in the thrill of the chase.
Her siblings, however, would disagree with her. And in particular for Alicia — Clea's favourite target for this bizarre idea of fun — it may finally be a time to show she is no longer the same timid girl Clea remembers from the time before the Fracture.
If she doesn't, who knows if she'll ever know peace again.

Summary
Clea has her mirror self painted over at the top of Flying Manor, and she has Clea trapped inside the atelier with her. It’s a stalemate.
(Based on an AU where painted Clea manages to trick Clea and turn the tables on her, except she's still addled by her overpaint, and neither of them are human anymore.)

Summary
Some might call it a mercy to deny her the sight of her monstrous visage, but for Clea this is an act of cruelty – few things are as torturous to her as stagnation is. She’s been left in an in-between state, aware that she has been altered, but never allowed to see the final result.

Summary
Clea is no longer held captive at the Flying Manor, but her freedom has come with a heavy cost — her humanity. She now remembers having lived two lives, one as the painted Clea Dessendre, another as a monster obedient to a Paintress wearing her own face. Neither is a life Clea can ever fully return back to, with so much overpaint on her that Maelle could simply not remove.
But what yet remains of her family seems to want their eldest sister back, and because Clea still wants to be something, she might as well try settle back into a human life for the sake of her siblings — and if she can't do that, she'll just have to carve out a new path for herself.
