Summary
Life is comfortable out in the wilderness near Nowheresville, New Hometown. You don't get bothered by the obnoxiously loud noises of the construction sites, and you get to keep the company of various animals... Cows, it's mostly cows. But if Clover had to choose a downside to their lifestyle, it would be the constant, looming threat of vampires descending upon the innocent townspeople.
This fanfic is not affiliated with prettyinpink2468's Cocoa powder Vampire AU on tumblr, but it is SLIGHTLY inspired by it.
This fanfic is also not being actively proofread or beta'd because i can't read and none of my friends can either. We ride with what we write over here💥

Ten years.
Clover has been trapped in a loop of running through all the different routes of Undertale Yellow for ten real-time years.
Then, during one of the thousands of hateful massacres that have played out, something changes.
Right at the end of the bloodsoaked path, unable to suppress a guilt gnawing at them from within, Clover turns their gun on the yellow flower a touch early.
The gunslinger fights Flowey with an equal level of Determination. The save file is damaged in the crossfire, and the save system is destroyed.The data corruption sends Clover through the void, all the way back to just outside Mt. Ebott, and also ages the gunslinger as well as the world itself by ten years.
While in the void, he sees fragments of events in the other routes, and a vision of a person he's never met before trapped in a certain laboratory.Burdened by the weight of his sins from his last journey, and armed with a vastly more mature body and mind, the fully grown cowboy decides he has to do things differently this time.
No more SAVEs. No more LOADs. No more RESETs.
All actions have permanent, irreversible consequences.
This is their final shot.

Summary
After the events of the true pacifist route in Undertale R&Y (with Frisk choosing to stay with Toriel):
Monsterkind has been living peacefully on the surface among humans ever since a young child, Frisk, saved them from their long captivity in the underground.
All is well for Frisk and their friends. All except Clover, a young human who was recently brought back to life by Asriel Dreemurr as gift for their selfless sacrifice in the underground. While they appreciate their second chance at life, they had never gotten over a friend they wish they had never had to say goodbye to. Chara Dreemurr, the first human to fall into the underground, and one of two ghosts, alongside Clover, who guided Frisk through their journey, has not forgotten about their friend either. Unlike Clover, Chara was not given a second chance at life, and continues to watch over Frisk on the surface. While they enjoy Frisk’s company, Clover has always been at the forefront of the first-fallen's mind. Unknowingly to Clover, there is one way for Chara to return to the living realm. However, Chara has been hesitant to act on this.
After all, such an act would require a permanent marriage of souls.

this story is so freaking cute and funny at the same time and yet it still has a good balance of like "what the hell" and I LOVE it its aww so cute and I love watching their dynamic grow and change and stuff im so excited for more <3
