Summary
In Alastor's domain dinner is never just a meal; it is a ritual of high fidelity and razor-sharp precision.
Vincent, a rising television host, accepts a formal invitation and steps into an evening staged with obsessive care: rare vinyl records, a prized 1945 wine, and a simmering Creole gumbo. Music, silence, and domestic gestures become instruments of control as Alastor choreographs each moment with surgical calm.
Vincent’s confidence erodes into inexperienced hunger while Alastor prolongs the night to see how far he will bend.
The room is a landscape of shadows and impeccable etiquette where every choice, from the record on the turntable to the pause between notes, is a move in a subterranean game of power. The night unfolds as a slow burn of seduction and charged tension, a study of appetite, authority, and vulnerability that sets the stage for a three-act work promising a finale that is more than just a dessert.
Inspired by the MurderMedia series "If You Never Shoot, You'll Never Know" and "Cause I Know You," which brought me back to writing after a ten-year hiatus.
I hope you'll enjoy.

Summary
Hell is other people. Purgatory is being a twenty something weatherman with the memories of a being a media overlord who had the entirety of Hell wrapped around his finger.
Sent back to his mortal life with a chance to "do it right this time", Vox has a problem. The Angels have installed a patch in his soul: the Pacifist Protocol. If he tries to kill a rival, poison a boss, or throw a punch, he is paralyzed by blinding agony.
He cannot claw his way to the top if he can't use his claws. He needs a loophole.

Summary
“... Vox. You can call me Vox.”
Alastor gave an acknowledging hum. “I understand it’s your first time at an establishment like this, is it, Vox?”
“It is, yes.”
“And have you been in a dynamic like this with anyone before?”
“No…” Vincent trailed off, avoiding eye contact once again. He really didn’t like being the inexperienced one.
Alastor seemed to perceive his nerves increasing at this line of questioning, and his already kind and welcoming voice noticeably softened. “Can you try something for me, darling?”
Vincent's stress is getting to him, and he turns to a paid dominant to take the edge off. Alastor is exceptional at making him fall apart, though the effect soon begins to go both ways.
How do professional boundaries hold up when one partner is experiencing true acceptance of his asexuality for the first time, and the other has found the only person to ever make him feel good enough?

Polites didn't notice the club Polyphemus was swinging towards him.
Someone else did.
And all Hades broke lose. This is a recreation of EPIC the musical if Odysseus died to Polyphemus instead of Polites. Plus, some added in trauma for the other characters as well!
Oh- and Athena doesn't leave to get the milk. Instead, she gets to be sad! Like everyone else in the dang fic!Bookmarked by codedboredom
