Summary
“Osgood, I have to go dark.”
Kate Stewart has been driven underground by the Grand Serpent, forced to disappear from the lives of her family, friends, and UNIT colleagues. After escaping an assassination attempt, Kate calls the one she trusts most, Osgood, before disappearing.
At UNIT HQ, Osgood’s world changes with a phone call. Kate is in trouble, and she is powerless to help. The UNIT they both loved is rapidly crumbling under a new regime, making the Earth more vulnerable than ever before.
Meanwhile, Claire Brown receives a vision: the end of the world is coming, faster. Time is running out, and fixing it involves pulling off a dangerous heist involving a blue box, a fugitive, and a network of underground tunnels…
